Water in Arrakis

I've never been the political type (I know that if I enter politics I will be assassinated on my first day of service, harhar) but I came across this article http://www.nybooks.com/articles/21830
and I couldn't help but smile at Michael Chabon's allusion to Frank Herbert's book "Dune", one of my favorite books. (We have brought water to Arrakis...")

Besides, Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" is one book that made tears stream down my eyes.
